The Naturhelix children's ear candles were specially developed for the treatment of children. They have a shorter burn time because they are smaller. Because of their smaller diameter, they fit better in children's ears. However, the prerequisite for optimal ear candle treatment is that the little patient must be old enough to lie quietly for about 15 minutes. Parents are advised to tell a fairy tale, for example, while treating their child. Furthermore, it should be explained to the child that they must not touch or move the candle during the ear candle treatment. The ear candle treatment is therefore not suitable for children under three years of age.

Gauze filter : At the lower end of the Naturhelix children's ear candles there is a multi-layer gauze filter made of cotton. This filter also ensures absolute security against dripping of combustion residues and wax. The filter guarantees a pleasant feeling of contact between the skin and the candle during the treatment.

Protective disc: A protective sheath is enclosed with every Naturhelix candle pack. Pulled up on the candle, it protects the skin surface of both the child and the person treating it from heat and ashes.

ABOUT EAR CANDLES

The ear candle treatment is a simple and natural healing method that can also be done at home. The ear candle is placed in the external auditory canal. As it burns, the candle generates heat and certain vibration waves in the patient's ear canal. These are due to the chimney effect (a moderate vacuum is created). The movement of the air column inside the candle stimulates the energy centers of the ear and has a “massaging effect” on the eardrum.
