Serpentine is a secondary mineral and mostly volcanic rocks from the Mesozoic are transformed into serpentine.
Serpentine is found, among others, in the Austrian East Tyrol, in Burgenland, near Erbendorf in Bavaria as well as in Zumblitz in Saxony and also in the S & uumld-Ural (Russia). The name of the serpentine is believed to come from & quotserpentes & quot (serpent), and is related to snake-like drawing of the mineral.
NOTE
It should be noted that every stone also needs care. This can vary from stone to stone. However, as a rule of thumb, whenever possible, clean your stone under running water, especially if different people are massaged with the same stone!
